Are You + Bannerflow = True? We are now hiring a Security & Compliance Manager to take ownership of our cybersecurity operations. This is a hands-on, operational role reporting directly to the CTO. You will lead, facilitate, and develop Bannerflow’s cyber security efforts across the organisation, including chairing our Risk Committee, coordinating with external security auditors or vCISO partners, and driving internal security and compliance initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and facilitate our quarterly Cyber Risk Committee meetings

• Own the execution of security initiatives aligned with findings from internal / external audits or due diligence processes

• Act as the operational point of contact for cyber risk and compliance topics

• Drive our risk remediation, documentation, and compliance processes

• Collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and legal to ensure alignment and execution

• Help us evolve our cyber maturity and prepare for eventual certification and audit-readiness

So, what are we looking for?

• 3–7 years of experience from similar roles, possibly as a security coordinator, IT compliance lead, or CISO or similar role

• Highly structured and operational, with a bias for action and follow-through

• Experience or strong interest in cyber security, compliance, and governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, etc.)

• A natural communicator, able to work across both technical and business stakeholders

• Fluent in Swedish and English, and eligible to work in Sweden full-time

Bonus skills Experience or knowledge in the area of digital advertising compliance is considered a strong plus, including:

• Understanding of TCF (Transparency and Consent Framework) and its implementation in digital advertising workflows

• Awareness of privacy and compliance challenges related to AdTech, such as consent management, cookie banners, and lawful data usage

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, ePrivacy, and how these apply specifically to media buying, audience targeting, and tracking technologies

• Familiarity with audit and control frameworks related to ad platform integrations and data sharing with third parties

These competencies will help you collaborate closely with our product, tech, and legal teams to ensure that security and compliance are embedded in how we build and run our advertising platform.
