We are looking for a cheerful and social assistant for a girl in her 30s in Linköping. She enjoys having activities during the day, such as going out for coffee, going to the cinema, theater, concerts, shopping, participating in leisure activities, taking short or long walks, and visiting family. She currently attends daily activities 4 days a week.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with personal hygiene and daily routines such as dressing and undressing, toilet visits, showering, feeding, mobility, and more.

Manage a home with everyday tasks, such as shopping/cooking, washing dishes, laundry, cleaning, and more.

Support a meaningful leisure time and participate in activities.

Qualifications:

Good communication skills and patience, as the client has difficulties with communication. Extra points if you have experience using communication boards, Bliss symbol language, and eye tracking.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage.

Ability to understand and adapt to the client's needs and wishes.

Personal qualities:

Considerate and responsible.

Enjoy being active and have a drive in your work.

You are positive and have a sense of humor.

Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.

Flexible and adaptable in a varied work environment.

We prefer you to be smoke-free, as the work is done close to the client. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is important for communication and documentation. You need to have a good physical foundation as the work can sometimes be physically demanding.

You should be able to work night shifts (includes some on-call duty), and it is good if you can be flexible with working hours occasionally, for example during activities, your colleagues' time off, and absences, etc.
