WHAT

As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work independently and make your own decisions while also working as part of a team. You will work in the department of clinical chemistry/transfusion medicine, and your main tasks will consist of analyzing samples and delivering accurate results on time.

We invest in individual competence development and want our employees to have a broad skill set and be able to handle various tasks to create strong teams. You will be involved in improvement efforts every day, thus influencing both working methods and processes. Teamwork and a good work climate are important to us. The position is a permanent employment with scheduled working hours including day/evening/weekend shifts.

The position can be somewhat adjusted regarding working hours. If you have a particular interest in any area within chemistry/transfusion medicine, we will try to give you the opportunity to develop in that area.

WHO

You are a team player with good collaboration skills, have a strong sense of quality, and always strive for a high level of service in your work. You “see” the customer, whether it is a patient, donor, or an orderer. We prioritize innovation and initiative, and therefore we want you to feel that you fit into such an environment. You are open to continuous change and development work based on Lean, as this is something that permeates our organization.

We also see that you:

  • Are a qualified licensed biomedical analyst.
  • Master Swedish in both spoken and written form.
  • Can work day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Laboratory experience or previous work at a blood center is considered a merit.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, and we apply a probationary period. If you are interested, we would be happy to receive your application as soon as possible, and we will call for interviews on an ongoing basis.

WHERE

The position is located at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna. You will be welcomed as part of the team, where your colleagues consist of biomedical analysts, biologists, biomedical scientists, nursing assistants, nurses, molecular biologists, chemists, and doctors.
