Our client is a 53-year-old woman who, since a car accident, has an acquired brain injury that affects her life. Despite the challenges, she has a great zest for life and loves to spend time with her family and grandchildren. Before the accident, she was very active and still enjoys walks, healthy eating, and making fresh juices. She also has a keen interest in fashion and shopping and enjoys visiting Nacka Forum and Sickla shopping center.

About the role

The client lives in her own apartment and needs help with most aspects of her daily life. This includes everything from personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals, to household chores like laundry and cleaning. Your role will also involve assisting with planning, leisure activities, and exercise. Since Brenda's communication is limited, it is important that you are attentive, self-motivated, and can take the initiative. She communicates through body language and has started to speak a little again, but needs your support to express herself fully.

The client has epilepsy, and you need to be prepared to handle both minor and, in rare cases, more serious seizures.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for a responsible, warm, and positive person who can bring joy and laughter into our client's life. Experience in personal assistance is a plus, but your personality and commitment are crucial.

Requirements:

• You have a positive and proactive attitude.
• You are attentive to the client's needs and can work independently.
• You are available to work varying hours, as the client may sometimes wake up during the night.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with acquired brain injuries or similar disabilities.
