About the Position

Residential support in social psychiatry is an operation aimed at adults with mental health issues/functional impairments and/or comorbidity. We also work with individuals facing significant social problems and have a close collaboration with the municipality's Housing Team to prevent homelessness.

As a residential support worker in social psychiatry, you work in the clients' homes. The goal is to support clients towards greater independence in their daily lives. With the help of pedagogical support, guiding support at home, and social support, residential support works to remove barriers to development. As a residential support worker, you work together with the clients, and a large part of the work is practical in nature. The work is varied, and interventions are tailored to the clients' needs.

The work is very independent and requires planning skills and self-motivation.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone with education such as a social educator or other education with a social or pedagogical focus that the employer finds suitable, combined with professional experience or knowledge of psychiatry and individuals with mental disabilities. Experience with comorbidity is also desirable. A B driver's license is required for the position.

You are an organizational talent with good verbal and written skills. Qualifications in care and support coordination or other forms of case management, low-arousal responses, solution-focused, and motivational conversation methodologies are advantageous.

As a person, you are independent and enjoy being the spider in the web. You are confident in yourself and a reliable colleague.
