Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead.

For this role, we are seeking a consultant who can evaluate and analyze an existing Data Lake solution for decision support. The assignment includes mapping how the solution is currently used and analyzing future needs from a technical, organizational, and business perspective. You will be responsible for assessing what role the Data Lake and the current platform should have in the future architecture and providing recommendations for the ongoing work.

If further development is not deemed justified, you will also identify and document stakeholders and their needs, explore alternative and more cost-effective solutions, and if necessary, develop a phase-out plan and drive the work of decommissioning.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Competence level 4
• You have a relevant higher education in IT, economics, or equivalent
• You have at least 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of data platforms in larger organizations (more than 5 data sources and 50 end users), including both Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a project manager (project or product leader) for data-related projects, with documented ability to lead and distribute work in development teams and collaborate with architects, business, product owners, source system owners, and other stakeholders.
• You have excellent communication skills, both with business and IT, with high proficiency in written and oral presentation in Swedish.

Desirable Requirements:

• You have experience with various data platforms and tools – from on-premise to cloud-based solutions for Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures, such as Informatica, Oracle, Cloudera, etc.
• You have experience conducting business and technical evaluations of data platforms, including preparing cost/benefit analyses and decision support materials.
• You have the ability to plan and execute further development, decommissioning, or migration of data platforms (e.g., Data Lake or Data Warehouse), including documentation of stakeholder needs, risk analysis, and development of action plans.
• You have led the development of strategies for decision support architectures to create business value through the use of data.
