Role Description We are looking for someone with several years of experience in accounting who enjoys working in a role that combines independent responsibility with close collaboration in a small team. You are confident in your skills, like to take initiative, and want to contribute both operationally and strategically. In the role of Accountant / Accounting Economist, your main purpose is to handle the company's daily bookkeeping tasks and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate and in accordance with applicable regulations.

In your daily work, you will

• Ongoing accounting: Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and follow-up of customer and supplier accounts.
• Account analysis and reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of balance and income statement accounts.
• Tax and VAT: Report to the Tax Agency.
• Period-end closing: Responsible for conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Administration and archiving: Manage and archive financial documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare and compile materials for internal and external reports according to instructions from the Head of Finance.
• Projects and improvement work: Participate in finance-related projects and work to improve accounting processes together with the Head of Finance.

We are looking for someone who has :

• Relevant degree from a university or college.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in accounting and reporting.
• Experience in group accounting is an advantage.
• Very good skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• System experience:
  • Experience with accounting systems.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Business Central.
  • Comfortable user of MS Excel.
