About the role

We are now looking for a senior system administrator to be responsible for the management and further development of meteorological systems (MET) used in air traffic control services. The role is central to ensuring safe and efficient air traffic through accurate and accessible meteorological information.

You will be part of an IT organization with about 100 employees working closely with the business. Here you will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of the airports of the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage and further develop MET systems in line with the needs of the business and technological advancements.
• Ensure that the systems meet requirements from the Transport Agency, ICAO, and other authorities.
• Coordinate operations, maintenance, and incident management in collaboration with IT, suppliers, and operational units.
• Participate in projects and change initiatives related to MET systems and air traffic control.
• Be responsible for documentation, system descriptions, and user support.
• Monitor and report system status, performance, and improvement needs to management and steering groups.

Qualifications

Must-haves:

• Good understanding of aviation operational processes and requirements for meteorological information.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., ICAO Annex 3, EU 373/2017).
• At least 5 years of experience in system administration within IT.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent manner and in a team.
• Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience in system administration within air traffic, meteorology, or similar technical environments.
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and authorities.
