ABOUT THE POSITION

As a systems engineer, you will be a key player in developing and implementing the next generation of radar and sensor systems. With a strong understanding of systems, you will keep the big picture together, identify technical risks, and ensure that complex sensor technology works in practice.

You will act as a technical advisor, translating operational needs into concrete technical documents that are crucial for strategic decisions, requirements setting, and future development. In your role, you will drive dialogue with both customers and suppliers, follow up on quality, and guide the customer through critical technical choices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Technical review: Review suppliers' documentation for radar systems to ensure that the technology meets the high demands placed on defense.
• Requirements setting: Define the supplier's technical solutions and systems.
• Collaboration: Support procurement projects with expertise in system design and integration of radar systems.
• System work: Work on architecture to ensure that systems interact effectively and safely.
• Project management: Direct and lead your own and others' work.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has experience in a similar role as a systems engineer, or an electrical engineer with a focus on radar, or a software engineer with experience in system architecture.
• Has experience with radar and sensor systems and has a good ability to understand complex systems with many components.
• Has knowledge and understanding of the concept of System of Systems (SoS).
• Has a good ability for self-leadership and to drive your own work in project form.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from the defense sector or other government operations.
• Experience in radar and interface work related to sensor and command systems.
• Experience in integration and verification of technical systems.
