The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services.

Do you have experience in analytical work, technical collection on the internet, and processing large amounts of information in databases? We are now looking for collectors/analysts with strong problem-solving skills and a wide range of competencies who want to work with information gathering from social media and other sources on the internet. Your work will form the basis for Must's intelligence production and can become crucial pieces for our decision-makers.

Main Responsibilities

• Identify flows, information volumes, and sources on the internet to collect, process, and analyze these to produce intelligence
• Prepare documentation, both orally and in writing
• Conduct method development within the operational area

Qualifications

• Academic degree, officer's degree, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Very good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Very good analytical ability
• Swedish citizenship

Meritorious

• Knowledge in information technology, API, web scraping, data-driven analysis, graph databases, and/or programming
• Experience in investigative journalism, investigative work, and/or conversation techniques
• Work experience from an intelligence agency
• Language skills in Persian, Arabic, Mandarin, or Russian
• Knowledge in the cyber field

Personal Qualities

You are knowledgeable, curious, and creative. You are structured and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and sometimes on short notice. You are flexible and can switch between tasks as needed. Furthermore, you have a good ability to initiate and drive your own cases. You can work both independently and in a team. You can keep a cool head and a good tone even in pressured situations. As a person, you are unpretentious and enjoy being a cog in a larger team. The position requires good judgment, high integrity, and strong security awareness.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
