Do you want to work in a technically complex environment where security, stability, and long-term management are at the forefront? We are now looking for a Senior Technical IT Specialist for a comprehensive and critical consulting assignment with a public entity in Stockholm.

This is a long-term assignment where you will play a central role in ensuring a stable, secure, and cost-effective IT environment in the area of access control systems and access solutions.

As a Technical IT Specialist, you are the central technical contact point between IT providers and internal stakeholders. You act as a technical expert in both daily management and development initiatives.

You are the bridge between the business needs and the delivered IT solution – with a clear responsibility for ensuring that the system landscape is sustainable, secure, and well-maintained over time.

Your duties include, among others:

• Ensuring that services are delivered according to agreed service levels

• Managing the lifecycle of the area’s services

• Handling release and incident processes

• Independently troubleshooting complex issues in access control systems

• Driving actions together with internal teams and external suppliers

• Ensuring that technical documentation and operational procedures are up to date

• Monitoring management plans and reporting status and deviations

• Collaborating with suppliers and following up on deliveries

• Participating in procurement and contract management in the area

• Working with budget, forecasting, and financial follow-up

You have:

• At least 3 years of experience in operational management or technical support of access control systems or related access and security systems

• At least 2 years of experience with structured processes for incident, change, and problem management in IT environments

• At least 2 years of experience creating and updating technical documentation

• At least 2 years of documented experience in independent troubleshooting of access control systems

• At least 3 years of experience working with information and IT security, including security requirements and compliance work

You are structured, analytical, and comfortable working independently in complex technical environments.

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience working in the public sector or government agencies

• Experience in financial follow-up (invoices, budget, forecasting) within IT-related assignments

• Experience in installation, configuration, and project planning of:

  • Kaba Exos

  • ASSA ABLOY ARX

  • Tidomat

  • ASSA ABLOY CLIQ

• Experience in server operations (Windows or Linux), such as patching or upgrades

• Experience in integrations with the aforementioned access control systems

Stockholm (Kungsholmen). The assignment allows for both remote work and on-site work according to agreement and the needs of the organization.

Start: 2026-04-01 End: 2027-03-31 Scope: 40 hours per week Extension option: Up to 1+1+1+1+1 year

The assignment is security classified and a security clearance is required.
