What does this position entail?

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 67-year-old woman in Båstad. She lives with MS and needs support in her daily life, both at home and when she is out on activities. With her, you will become an important part of a functioning everyday life, as you assist with personal care, household chores, and transfers (assistive devices are available, including an electric wheelchair).

We offer both a position of about 70% and extra work for those who want to fill in occasionally. Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend, with some shifts being longer (up to 15 hours). We believe that you who apply for the position are calm, empathetic, and attentive to people's needs.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to: 

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and be understood in Swedish.
• be attentive and caring.
• have experience in care and assistance (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
• have a B driver's license (you may need to drive as part of the job).

Additional information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time (70% or 25-40%)

Working hours: Varying schedule during the day, evening, and weekend. Times are 8:30 AM - 11:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM.

Start date: October 2025

Other: We are also looking for hourly substitutes.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
