We are now looking for a personal assistant for a nearly 5-year-old boy with disabilities. The position is a fixed-term employment of approximately 60% that extends until 2025-08-31. The scope may be increased if needed. Working hours are scheduled for evenings/nights and every other weekend.

The workplace is located outside the urban area, but there is access to public transport as the nearest bus stop is about 1 km from the workplace.

About the Job

The job involves qualified care and everything that occurs in the daily life of a child, such as personal hygiene, assistance with activities, and during transfers. It also includes helping with other interventions such as physiotherapy and providing support for daily basic needs.

The job also involves being a social support and planning and participating in all activities. Working as a personal assistant is a fun and varied job where you, together with the user, perform activities both inside and outside the home based on their wishes and needs.

Qualifications

For the position, it is desirable that you are a trained nursing assistant. Since communication regarding medication, working according to the implementation plan, routines, and documentation are some of the daily tasks, it is required that you can speak and document in Swedish.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, structured, and can meet the user in their needs and daily life. You need to be flexible, patient, and have good knowledge of care.

You need to have the ability to work both independently and in a group towards common goals.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability, personal maturity, and being attentive to the user's individual needs and the private atmosphere with the family.

As there are pets in the home, it is required that you are tolerant of furry animals.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement, so you can take trips with the user. For the position, it is also required that you have Bank-ID.

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. Start date according to agreement.
