WISI Norden is a small company with around 20 employees that is part of the larger WISI Group. In Linköping, we develop headend systems for video and TV distribution. Our products handle large amounts of data in municipal networks and facilities around the world. We enable professional TV distribution through various technologies such as optics, radio, encryption, and compression.

In Linköping, we develop both software and hardware. We take pride in being involved in the entire design and lifecycle of our products!

WISI Norden is now strengthening its R&D resources to keep up with the technological advancements taking place. The products are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and in Linköping, both software and hardware are developed.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to enhance the development team. We seek an initiator who can drive development forward together with colleagues. You will be part of a high-performing and friendly R&D team where you will work on development projects alongside others. You will also have excellent opportunities to influence your role and grow by taking on significant personal responsibility. Since WISI Norden is a global company, you will work with colleagues, customers, and users from various parts of the world every day.

In the role of software developer, you will:

• Develop new products and functionalities for professional use

• Design and implement software for embedded Linux systems

• Program in C

• Receive direct feedback from customers and troubleshoot any issues

In addition, we see that you have:

• A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Ability to program in C, C++, or similar languages

• Fluency in Swedish and English

If you also have experience with processing, standards, and protocols for video as well as building systems in Yocto, it is considered a significant plus as it will be part of the role.
