We are looking for an experienced frontend developer who wants to help further develop one of Sweden's largest digital sales channels. You will work in the team responsible for the booking flow on sj.se – a community service with high demands on performance and accessibility.

Your upcoming role In the role of senior frontend developer, you will further develop our frontend solutions with a focus on usability, design, functionality, and accessibility according to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. You will contribute technical expertise in architectural choices, design patterns, and code quality.

An important part of the role is to drive and implement infrastructure as code in our Azure environment and to build domain knowledge and understanding of SJ's business rules. You will work closely with developers, UX designers, and product owners in several teams to deliver solutions to our various clients – sj.se, the SJ app, customer service client, and loyalty program.

As a senior developer, we expect you to share your knowledge and actively contribute to keeping SJ at the forefront of technology. You ensure high quality by developing and updating tests and monitoring. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for your code, which includes developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying the code.

In the role of senior developer, we expect you to have a natural desire to share your knowledge and experiences and to take on mentorship for junior developers, as well as actively participate in forums to drive and advocate for SJ's place at the forefront of technology. You are unpretentious, curious, and have the ability to challenge, analyze, and set requirements. We see that you possess:

• A university degree in a relevant field.

• Several years of documented experience in frontend development and have strong experience in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Redux.

• Understanding of test-driven development and test automation. We use Playwright and Vittest in our implementation.

• Experience in coaching teams and supporting more junior developers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in solution architecture.

• Knowledge of accessibility and WCAG 2.2 AA.

• Experience in driving and implementing infrastructure as code in Azure environments.

Preferred experiences

• Experience in full-stack development, especially focusing on Java and working in IntelliJ IDEA.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures in a monorepo structure.

• Experience in how to practically develop to meet security requirements.

• We would like you to have experience with headless CMS (we use Sanity).

• IaC with Bicep or Terraform, as well as Azure DevOps and FinOps.

• CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps are also preferred.
