The Role of Senior System Developer

As a senior system developer, you will be operational with a focus on software development and system integration. You are expected to contribute technical depth, take responsibility for complex design and implementation issues, and act as a natural knowledge resource within the team.

You will closely collaborate with colleagues in electronics and mechanics to create robust, efficient, and innovative robotic solutions. The role is broad and involves working on everything from low-level code to system architecture and integration.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Development of software for embedded systems (primarily in C and Python)
• Drive design, implementation, testing, and integration of software
• Participate in system integration with hardware, electronics, and mechanics
• Contribute to improvements of codebase, tools, and development processes
• Act as a technical sounding board for colleagues and share your experience

About the Team

We are looking for someone who has:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in embedded systems, mechatronics, computer engineering, or technical physics
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Deep expertise in C and/or Python
• Experience working closely with hardware and system integration
• Ability to take responsibility for technical wholes and contribute senior experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience in embedded systems, robotics, or control engineering
• Experience in real-time programming, RTOS, or low-level development
