About the Position

Bioglan is growing rapidly, and it is time for us to expand our logistics department with a new position as a Strategic Buyer focused on purchasing and contracts.

In the role of Strategic Buyer, you will be part of our logistics department and report to the Logistics Manager.

Your tasks will include:

• Negotiating confidentiality agreements with suppliers related to prices and terms;

• Leading the local purchasing work and setting guidelines for the work now and in the future;

• Analyzing and comparing offers related to cost reduction;

• Establishing, maintaining, and administering contracts with suppliers;

• Creating agreements with suppliers and maintaining and administering contract documentation;

• Being the point of contact for all commercial aspects related to supplier contracts and agreements;

• Supporting the Supply Planner in purchasing-related inquiries;

• Developing and monitoring supplier performance in line with established goals.

Your Profile

The most important thing to succeed in this role is to be service-minded, self-driven, fearless, and responsible. We believe you are a person with expertise in what the position requires related to purchasing and contracts. You have a genuine interest in people and administration and humbly build relationships both within and outside the company. As a Strategic Buyer, you have a good ability to communicate with both internal and external contacts, are structured, and achieve results by creating good collaboration beyond functional boundaries. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry and have experience with GMP.

In addition to this, we see that you have:

• An academic degree in logistics, Supply Chain, or economics;

• Three to five years of experience in purchasing work in a similar role, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry;

• Experience in creating, maintaining, and negotiating supplier agreements;

• Good knowledge of Excel and experience working in business systems;

• Previous experience of working according to GMP is an advantage;

• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
