Emploid has received renewed trust and continues our collaboration with an international company in the manufacturing industry, located in Landskrona. The company is now in need of a Strategic Buyer who can eventually shape the role and gain expanded responsibilities. More information about our client will be provided later in the recruitment process.

About the Role
As a Strategic Buyer, you will play a key role in purchasing and supply planning. Initially, you will work with operational purchasing and supplier management, while in the long term, you will also work more strategically and develop the processes around purchasing.

We are fundamentally looking for a person with documented good results in operational and strategic purchasing within a production-based technical industry. If you also have experience in logistics, this is an advantage. It is also important that you have a drive and a desire to develop in the role. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to expand their area of responsibility over time. Your main tasks include:

- Responsible for demand planning and sending inquiries.

- Create purchase orders and plan deliveries of their components.

- Ensure that deliveries are made on time and manage any deviations.

- Maintain and optimize the ERP system with supplier and item data.

- Negotiate prices and contractual terms, as well as manage supplier evaluations and relationships.

- Contribute to developing routines and processes for purchasing and supply planning.

- Plan and optimize inventory levels.

- Analyze and evaluate suppliers and their offers to ensure alignment with the company's goals.

- If necessary, contribute to leadership by distributing tasks and supporting the team.

- Be a relationship builder both internally, as the role will involve many contact points between different departments, and externally as you will be responsible for the relationship with various suppliers.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience in strategic purchasing or supply planning in a technical industry, with ambitions to take the next step in your career. You thrive in a project-based environment and have the ability to build trust both internally and externally. You also need to have strong analytical skills and be able to create a holistic perspective on the business. Being able to adapt quickly based on customer-specific requests is also important. To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

- At least 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or supply planning within an industry with a technical focus and in a manufacturing environment.

- Good understanding of ERP systems and Office 360, especially Excel.

- Post-secondary education in purchasing or logistics.

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

- Technical understanding and experience working with technical components.

- Flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to take initiative and the ability to have a holistic view of the business needs, suppliers, and routines.

- Previous leadership experience is advantageous, but it is not a requirement – the most important thing is that you have the ambition and potential to want to develop in such a role.

- Previous logistics experience is also advantageous.

Working hours: 08.00-16.30 with the possibility of flexible hours.

Salary: By agreement.
