Are you a caring and dedicated person who wants to make a real difference in the life of a young girl? We are looking for a flexible personal assistant for a cheerful and active girl with mild intellectual disabilities and epilepsy. The position involves a fixed shift on Tuesdays and the possibility to fill in as needed. The girl loves horses, so it is important that you are not afraid of them. The role includes accompanying her to the stable when she rides. You need to be able to walk and run alongside the horse as a safety measure in case she has an epileptic seizure.

Your tasks may also include accompanying her to school and participating in everyday activities at home. You need to be attentive, responsible, and flexible. 

Examples of typical tasks:
• Personal hygiene and care
• Be present and adapt the environment for the client so that she does not injure herself if she has an epileptic seizure
• Engage in activities as desired by the client, such as going to the stable and riding, as well as stable care like mucking out the paddocks, taking a trip on the commuter train, or baking.
• Play board games Desirable:
• Previous experience in personal assistance or working with children/youth with disabilities.
• Experience or interest in epilepsy and speech disorders, but this is not a requirement – we offer training and support.

• Employment type: Hourly employment
• Scope: Part-time
• Working hours: Tuesdays from 14:30 to about 18:00 and varying days as needed
• Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
