We are now looking for a driven project manager who wants to lead projects from start to finish - a role that suits you if you enjoy taking responsibility and are passionate about business. Eddings carries out both large and small projects in construction forging, glass and metal sections, fine forging, and service forging primarily for construction and real estate companies but also for private individuals.

About the position

As a project manager, you will be responsible for sales, planning, and execution of projects with a focus on finance and follow-up. You are the spider in the web. You will work closely with both clients and colleagues in a wonderful and engaging work environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• responsible for customer relations
• cost estimation and quotation work
• procurement and purchasing of materials for projects, subcontractors/suppliers, and consultants
• resource planning
• lead, distribute, and follow up on tasks in ongoing projects
• establish and follow up on the project timeline
• lead the project team where you have functional employee responsibility
• responsible for project finances and ensuring the project stays within budget
• manage changes
• participate in bid reviews, construction and installation meetings, etc.
• ensure compliance with quality systems and legal requirements, as well as the preparation and handover of final documentation to the client

As a project manager, sales and quotation work are also part of your role, where you contribute with your business acumen. Upselling is a natural part of the projects.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a project manager or in a similar role within the construction or contracting industry, preferably with elements of forging, steel, or glass.
• Has good knowledge of project finance and contract law.
• Is business-minded, self-driven, and structured with the ability to create engagement and team spirit.
• Has an engineering degree (preferable but not required) and a B driver's license.

Experience with CAD and cost estimation, as well as project management in forging and/or glass, is also advantageous.
