About the Position
Assignment period: February 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025, with a great possibility of extension.
Our client is looking for a warehouse technician for Värtaverket. Responsibilities include:
- Goods reception
- Forklift operation
- Delivery and handover of spare parts/material
- Purchasing of spare parts/material
- Supplier contact
- Request for quotations
- Ongoing inventory of the warehouse/store
- Balance management in the client's existing maintenance data system IFS
Focus Areas in Purchasing:
- Cost and delivery condition optimization
- Development of supplier relationships and negotiation strategies
- Ensuring supplier quality and risk management
- Inventory management and material supply in line with business needs
- Sustainability focus when selecting suppliers and materials
- Continuous market analysis to identify savings opportunities
- Compliance with internal guidelines and policies for purchasing and supplier management
Qualifications

You should also have a sense of service and be able to meet and handle customers, colleagues, and suppliers well, as you will be working with people daily. You are cheerful, quick to learn, and self-driven. Additionally, you should enjoy physical work and not be afraid to put in effort when required.
- Forklift license A and B
- Driving license B or AM qualification is required
- Good computer skills as you will be working daily in the maintenance system IFS.
- Experience in strategic and operational purchasing
- Experience in supplier negotiations
- Experience negotiating with international suppliers
- Experience leading and driving purchasing projects from start to finish
- Experience in purchasing within production or industrial operations
- Knowledge of inventory optimization and demand planning
- Knowledge of cost-saving initiatives and supplier development
