Experienced Project Manager for Cultural Heritage Buildings, Stockholm

You will have the opportunity to work with unique cultural heritage properties, some of which are the city's oldest and finest buildings. What is it like to work as a project manager here?
At KFS, we work as consultants for our owners and other clients such as SFV and the Property Office of Stockholm City. This can be as project, design, or construction managers. Most of our projects are renovation projects in churches and parish houses, but there are also new constructions of both churches and larger residential development projects. In our larger projects, we work together in various roles.

As a project manager, you are responsible for the entire process from feasibility study to final inspection under the guidance of the project manager. This responsibility includes client relations, quality, technology, time, legal requirements, environment, energy, and economy. You will apply for building permits and approvals according to cultural heritage laws as well as for church antiquarian compensation. We are a small organization, and you will be responsible for the administration of projects such as invoicing, Af-sections, contracts, and minute-taking.

You will primarily procure collaborative contracts and consultants for general consulting assignments. The role also includes presenting your projects to our clients, often church politicians.

Who are you?
To thrive and be successful in the job, you are experienced in the role of project manager for renovation projects and possibly also in new construction projects. You also have experience as a design manager or construction manager, and if you are a KA or inspector, that is an advantage. In your knowledge bank, you have good knowledge of cultural historical buildings, procurement, contract law (AB 04), and construction technology.

You have a post-secondary engineering degree in construction or property, alternatively a civil engineer, and you have a B driver's license.

As a person, you are structured and plan for both the short and long term. You are also interested in learning new things and communicating with others. You have the ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing and adapt your communication to both the situation and the people you are communicating with.
