We are looking for summer substitute laboratory assistants for our filling, chemical, and microbiological laboratory in Falkenberg.

The role involves:

Analyzing our products and developing our quality work, not only in the laboratory but also together with other departments within the brewery. In the laboratory, raw materials, products, and media are analyzed.

• You will work both independently and in teams according to prescribed control plans with analyses in microbiology, chemistry, and sensory analysis.
• Compile and report results to create a continuous improvement process
• Perform calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments
• Participate in investigations, projects, and improvement work
• Support production departments in problem-solving and developing necessary actions in case of deviations

At Carlsberg, we work with continuous improvements and use the PDCA tools for problem-solving. The position is a full-time job during the day, and you report directly to the laboratory manager. You will work at Carlsberg Sweden's brewery in Falkenberg.

About you

• Ongoing university or college education in natural sciences, chemistry, biology, or similar.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Meticulous and structured, as many different results and samples are handled.
• Enjoy working in a team, as we advocate teamwork at Carlsberg.
• Experience working in a laboratory is an advantage.
• Experience with lean principles in quality assurance is an advantage.
