About the role You are the spider in the web around the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support You are part of a team with group leaders, care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is “Leading without being a manager”.

Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.

About Breared The nursing home is located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga operates Breared under contract for Varberg Municipality with 92 places, focusing on dementia and somatic care. Follow us on Instagram @vardagavarberg

Dementia certification We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and response via Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/).

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse and we prefer that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires you to have both an overview of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
