About the position

As an ST physician, your responsibilities include examining, investigating, assessing, and treating patients. You are an important part of the development of the organization and help drive the clinic's work forward.

As an ST physician with us, you will receive good guidance from experienced colleagues and you have great opportunities to shape your own plan and develop special interests. We strive to make your training as rewarding and interesting as possible to provide you with the knowledge and experience you need for your future work as a specialist in family medicine. ST physicians regularly have joint and highly appreciated meetings for further education and reflection together with the study director.

About the workplace

We at Vallås Health Center are a positive team that enjoys working together and are proud of the good collaboration between our different professions. We are curious and dare to try new ideas. Together, we focus on making every patient encounter unique.

Vallås Health Center has approximately 6,500 registered patients. We are a medical clinic with specialists in family medicine, internal medicine, and rheumatology, as well as ST physicians. In addition to our medical clinic, we have a child health center, district nurse clinic, diabetes/COPD clinic, and vaccination clinic. The health center also has physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists. A nursing home in the area is connected to the health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with a genuine interest in family medicine. Completed/approved AT or BT is a requirement. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

In addition to good medical competence, we see that you are thorough and versatile in your work. We work with a strong patient focus, which requires engagement from you both in your professional role and in engaging other professions where needed. You take your own initiatives and handle your tasks responsibly. You are expected to have a positive and professional attitude and approach towards patients and colleagues. Furthermore, you contribute competence and joy to our health center, which we also hope to provide you.
