We are now welcoming care assistants to the home care service Edda home care in Uppsala.

Edda home care is centrally located at S:t Olofsgatan 9 A in Uppsala. You can easily reach us by public transport or bicycle.

In the position of care assistant, you work with care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with care decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You may assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and providing social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure everyone can live life to the fullest.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several part-time colleagues for a hourly employment starting on 2025-09-15.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Be able to cycle

We also see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in home care as well as experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
