Attendo S:t Jörgen nursing home is located 10 minutes from central Gothenburg, beautifully situated near lush green areas and S:t Jörgen Park.

S:t Jörgen is divided into two properties, a nursing home and a group home for people with dementia, as well as a short-term care unit. Together, we have 84 apartments distributed across eight departments.

We are looking for someone who is driven by working with people and making a real difference for our customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.

As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes
• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

We have new customers who need care and are now expanding our friendly team with more nursing assistants. It is advantageous if you have experience in elderly care and delegation.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with nursing assistant training and experience in care work. 

You enjoy providing good service, building strong relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. As a person, you are independent, humble, meticulous, and responsible. You are passionate about caring for the elderly, see the individual's needs, and are engaged with their relatives.

You will become part of a dedicated team that strives to go the extra mile. Therefore, it is important to have the ability to collaborate easily, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant training of at least 1350 points.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

Meritorious:

• Experience in care work in elderly care
• Experience in delegation.
• Driver's license B (depending on segment/position)

About the recruitment process
