Nature, cultivation, and gardening are the guiding principles for Unika Nimbus daily operations, located on a beautiful old Skåne farm in Stångby kyrkby outside Lund. Since the unit is situated in the countryside, a driver's license is required to work here, both because we go on activities with our participants in our cars and because one must be able to get here. Currently, there are 16 participants within LSS group 1 who have their daily jobs with us. We have many outdoor activities, so it is important that you as staff enjoy being outside. We are now looking for someone who wants to be a substitute with us.
About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.
Qualifications- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- DRIVER'S LICENSE
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
- Experience in healthcare and social services.
- High school education such as child and leisure program, health and care program.
- Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
- Worked with complex support needs.
Employment Type: hourly employed Working Hours: daytime Start Date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start shortly. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
