About the position

We are now looking for an Energy and Technology Specialist for our Property Development Department, who can collaborate with management and the project department in the regions to develop our properties towards set goals.

Main responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and design energy efficiency projects in accordance with the company's set investment and sustainability goals.
• Drive and perform analyses to identify savings opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Evaluate energy usage in our buildings in the regions and, together with our Operations Managers, initiate corrective actions to reduce costs and budget deviations.
• Provide technical support and expertise to the company to ensure optimal performance of the properties' heating, water, electrical systems, and building envelope.
• Participate in ensuring that energy declarations carried out within your regions meet the company's quality requirements regarding areas and energy.
• Stay updated on the latest technology, regulations, and industry practices through market monitoring and participate in relevant training and seminars, e.g., through networks such as BEBO, the Public Housing Climate Initiative, etc.

Your profile

• Relevant experience in energy, technology, and installation, or a university degree in energy and technology with 2-3 years of experience in the industry.
• Experience working with Property Development and technical systems, focusing on heating, ventilation, water, and electricity.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability strategies within the real estate industry.
• Analytical skills and a solution-oriented attitude to identify and implement savings measures.
• You are a team player who enjoys traveling for work and collaborating closely with your colleagues.
• Business understanding for economically sustainable decisions and projects.
• It is considered an advantage if you also have certifications in the field, such as Certified Energy Expert/Energy Surveyor and knowledge of Vitec Energi, Webport, and BIM-Energy.
• Possess a valid driver's license (B).

• Extent: Full-time
• Location: You will be based at our office in Stockholm, but it will involve work and travel within our regions Mitt – Mälardalen and Stockholm North/South.
