Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The girl has a stoma bag, a feeding tube, and a peg. She is prone to vomiting and requires supervision around the clock.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 3-year-old girl living in Hässelby
• has experience working in care and personal assistance
• has experience working with children
• experience with epilepsy
• has good knowledge of Swedish and English as both languages are spoken in the household.
• must not have pets at home due to allergies in the workplace.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 100%. The job involves work during the day and evenings on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
