As a substitute at Valla/T1 home care, you contribute to enabling more people to stay at home.

You will also be part of a workgroup with a good community where many fun and personal meetings take place. Even if you are a student looking for a job alongside your studies, you are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a substitute means that you work when regular staff are absent. This can range from a few hours to a longer period. You will shadow regular staff before you start working independently. You will receive training in medication delegation as part of your job responsibilities.

Your tasks include

• Assistance at the sheltered housing Solrosen and Översten
• Assistance in regular housing that you can easily cycle to
• Personal care
• Documentation
• Encouraging activities at the sheltered housing (breakfast club, seated exercise, and social game sessions)

Who We Are Looking For

To thrive with us, we believe you are a person who easily adapts to new routines in independent work and teamwork. In the customer's home, you are attentive to the needs present and take the initiative for activities and problem-solving in daily life.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old
• You can cycle
• You have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 at the high school level. Proficiency in the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension is a requirement.
• Education or work experience in care and support is an advantage

At Valla/T1, nursing assistants, nurses, and the operations manager work in a mixed but cohesive team. For us, it is important to have fun at work, and we cherish our pleasant atmosphere where everyone is welcome. We perform our joint work at the sheltered housing Solrosen and Översten and in the easily bikeable area that constitutes Valla/T1. The entire operation is run by Bräcke diakoni, which has overall responsibility for home care, home health care, and home rehabilitation in Linköping City South.
