We are looking for someone who wants to help shape the bank's future cloud landscape and assist our development teams in making the right technical decisions. In Norion Bank's Common Infrastructure division, you have the opportunity to drive the direction of our Azure environment, from landing zones and network topology to data platform and security choices.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Cloud Platform Architect, you are the bank's technical compass for everything related to Azure infrastructure. You will have a significant influence on Norion Bank's Azure strategy and architecture. Furthermore, you will closely collaborate with the bank's various product and development teams, support new development projects, and ensure that our cloud platform is secure, cost-effective, and built for scalability and high availability. You will also be directly involved in building our AI infrastructure to support our various AI initiatives.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Defining and further developing the bank's reference architecture: landing zones, networks, identity, governance, monitoring, and automation.
• Designing secure, performance-optimized operations and network solutions (Hub-and-Spoke, vWAN, secured hub with Azure Firewall) using IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
• Advising on compute and data platform choices (AKS, App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, SQL, Databricks/Fabric) based on performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Putting security first: e.g., Zero Trust principles, IAM design, policy scanning.
• Collaborating on security-related issues with our Cyber Security department.
• Facilitating architecture reviews and design workshops, spreading best practices, and pragmatically coaching development teams.

You will be part of the Common Infrastructure division, a team of about 15 people, where the Cloud Platform and Core IT Service teams work closely together to deliver a robust and modern banking platform. ABOUT YOU We are looking for an architect with solid technical experience in Azure, who can take strategic requirements and goals, such as security principles, network design, and cost optimization, and translate them into concrete technical solutions that are implemented, operated, and monitored in the bank's cloud platform.

We would like you to have:

• Many years of experience in cloud platforms/infrastructure, including several years of experience in Azure.
• Experience building and operating landing zones and governance solutions in larger organizations.
• Broad knowledge of networks and IaC (Bicep/Terraform) as well as automation with GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Azure data platforms and their various strengths/weaknesses.
• Azure Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent certifications.
• Fluent language skills in Swedish and English.

The position is a permanent employment that is preceded by a probationary period, starting by agreement.

At Norion Bank, we work in a hybrid setup with placement at our beautiful headquarters at Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg. On-site, which we are a few days a week, our teams sit together, promoting communication and collaboration.
