Senior IT Business Analyst – Aftermarket

We are looking for a driven and proactive Senior IT Business Analyst with a primary focus on Aftermarket operations. In addition to being part of the client's Construction team, you will also be part of the GIS cross-functional team for aftermarket.

As a Senior IT Business Analyst within Global Information Services (GIS), you will act as a bridge between the technical IT aspects and business requirements, contributing to the strategic goals of the client. The role involves collaboration across departments to improve efficiency, productivity, and strategic growth by identifying the current state, desired future state, and the gaps that need to be addressed.

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will use analytical skills, problem-solving, and communication abilities to enhance business processes, systems, and outcomes. You will employ various techniques (leading workshops, interviews, observations, analyses) to gather and validate business requirements.

Your tasks:

• Develop a detailed understanding of the Construction business and associated IT systems and tools.
• Be an active part of the Capability Area Aftermarket team supporting all divisions, where your detailed understanding of Construction Aftermarket will help identify and contribute to corporate harmonization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business and internal GIS colleagues.
• Work on feasibility studies, projects, and change activities, documenting all necessary business objectives and information, including creating detailed business and system requirements as well as operational processes.
• Act as a leader in evaluating strategic business activities, collaborating with stakeholders to set initial direction and scope, and establish success factors.
• Use analytical tools and techniques to process and analyze data, and utilize models, diagrams, or graphs to clearly and concisely visualize and communicate results.
• Evaluate various solution options considering feasibility, cost, and benefit, and provide recommendations on how to best meet the business needs and goals within your area of responsibility.
• Support the establishment of business cases for IT investments.
• Participate in the implementation of the designed solution, including development, testing, and deployment.

About you:
We trust in your solid knowledge of business processes and IT, and that you can seamlessly adapt to the client's vision of using digitalization for business success within Aftermarket. You demonstrate your expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio, and other key tools.

• You have a degree in computer science and at least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst (or similar) combined with project management skills.
• Experience from an IT or business role within Aftermarket is a requirement!

The position is based in Jonsered, Gothenburg (Hybrid).
