Hardware Asset Manager in Gothenburg

We are now looking for a structured and committed Hardware Asset Manager in Gothenburg who wants to take responsibility for the management and development of our client's hardware assets.

About the Role

As a Hardware Asset Manager, you will play a central role within the IT organization and work closely with end-users, IT teams, and suppliers. You will contribute to order, cost control, and quality in hardware management while striving for continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for inventory and lifecycle management of IT hardware such as computers, phones, and peripherals
• Manage and follow up on support cases related to hardware
• Develop, document, and drive processes for hardware management
• Perform basic maintenance and configuration of computers and manage mobile devices in Intune
• Handle purchases, orders, and supplier contacts
• Support internal and external parties in selecting hardware based on user needs and IT infrastructure
• Work closely with end-users to understand and anticipate future hardware needs
• Ensure accurate records of inventory, warranties, and maintenance
• Be responsible for annual budget planning and follow-up within hardware
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure effective integration and support
• Support and train 1st and 2nd line support in advanced troubleshooting
• Participate in improvement work regarding workflows and processes

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in IT support for client hardware and peripherals, as well as familiarity with working with suppliers and managing purchases. You have good knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT Asset Management (ITAM) and are comfortable working with budgeting and cost tracking. You understand agile methodologies and the ITIL framework and have experience working in ticketing and planning tools such as Jira, Azure Boards, or equivalent. As a person, you are structured, have excellent documentation skills, and work methodically. You also possess strong problem-solving abilities and are accustomed to troubleshooting and managing complex technical challenges. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
