Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at OXE Marine, you will work on both new development and improvement of existing products. You will develop embedded software for engine control and diagnostics, and work with test equipment, verification, and troubleshooting in close collaboration with the testing team, aftermarket, and mechanical developers.

You are expected to take significant personal responsibility and contribute both technical expertise and practical understanding of the products.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software (C/C++) for engine control and system integration
• Develop test cases for automated verification
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to software and hardware
• Be responsible for software verification and release
• Participate in improvement work for systems and software 
• Contribute to documentation and technical support within the organization

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education in software, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in software development in a similar role
• Experience in programming in C/C++
• Basic understanding of C#/.NET, REST API, and MySQL is a plus
• Experience in testing and troubleshooting embedded systems
• Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of digital logic (bit manipulation, bit shift, XOR, etc.) 
• Experience from the marine industry and diesel engines is a plus 
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
