Maintenance Manager at Scan

As one of two Maintenance Managers at Scan, you will play a central role in our production and be responsible for ensuring that our technical systems and production equipment operate optimally. Your main area of responsibility will be in our slaughter department, where your team will consist of mechanics, electricians, automation technicians, and coordinators.

Responsibilities in the Role

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Leading and coordinating the team to ensure that machines and production equipment operate efficiently and according to established quality standards.
• Responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
• Responsible for leading and executing projects within the organization.
• Working closely with the production team to identify and address technical issues that may affect production flow and efficiency.
• Proposing and implementing technical solutions to optimize production processes.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

What We Expect from You

We are looking for a person with a strong technical background and an interest in working in the food industry. Furthermore, we see that you are genuinely interested in being out in the operational business and engaged in daily work. You should have:

• Relevant technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or similar.
• Experience in technical work within production, preferably in the industry.
• Good leadership skills with an interest in being visible and engaged in daily work.
• Experience in leading a team and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Good understanding of production flows and maintenance systems.
• A problem-solving and proactive attitude with the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
