In our orthopedic technology operations, we work with all types of body-worn aids, such as orthopedic shoes, insoles, orthoses, corsets, and prostheses. The foundation of our operations is our collaboration with other healthcare professionals within Region Skåne and the teamwork conducted within, for example, child/adult habilitation, orthopedic/neuro rehabilitation, and diabetes teams.

Aktiv Ortopedteknik in Malmö currently has a total contract for orthopedic technical services with the main client Skåne University Hospital. We currently have about 40 employees at our Orthopedic Technology Center in Malmö. We work with all types of orthopedic aids in close collaboration with healthcare through, among other things, team cooperation. We are currently facing an exciting development phase as we have high ambitions to profile ourselves in orthopedic technology and prosthetic rehabilitation and to continue refining our operations.

You will be part of a team of orthopedic technicians, and your main tasks will involve the manufacturing of all types of orthopedic aids. Since Malmö is one of our largest operations, we have a wide range of aids that we can work with.

We offer you a stimulating job in an environment characterized by knowledge and high professional pride. Your introduction, training, and tasks will be adapted based on your skills and previous experience. The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting as soon as possible. Our working hours are generally from 07:45 to 16:30 on weekdays without weekends. We have a collective agreement, which means you are covered by collectively agreed insurances.

We are looking for someone with a qualified vocational college degree in orthopedic technology (400 YH points) or several years of practical/theoretical experience in orthopedic technology. You are proficient in both Swedish and English and have good computer skills. A B driver's license is an advantage.

As a person, you take independent responsibility for your tasks, drive your own processes, and ensure their completion. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work while meeting deadlines. When a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions and maintain your focus on the goal. You work proactively and come up with ideas and new perspectives on work-related issues that can be implemented in practice and lead to results.
