About the Job

Welcome to a job with a varied workday! Here, you will work on a mission that identifies the skills needs of companies and matches people who need support and adjustments for a functioning workday. Together, we create opportunities for job-seeking participants to find work. To achieve this goal, we need to collaborate with several community actors; the business sector, municipal administrations, and the Employment Service. Together with the workgroup, you will work on various initiatives to help participants find their place in the labor market.

Responsibilities

As a labor market counselor, you will support and develop the participant's skills to achieve self-sufficiency through an active working method, and you will be active in relationships with companies. The tasks include leading group activities, workshops, providing individual guidance and support, as well as developing new collaborations with employers to create internships, work training, and employment. It is important in the work that you seek help from colleagues to move forward through dialogue and reflection; at our workplace, we build trust together. You will be part of a team with three colleagues in an open office landscape, and we consult each other daily. You are good at listening and talking to people. You act actively and solution-focused, engaging participants, colleagues, and partners.

As an employee, you take responsibility for your work performance and carry out initiatives from start to finish. You take the initiative for development and look forward to a workday where you motivate, support, and lead people through change.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
• A criminal record check is required upon employment.
• Knowledge of the labor market's needs and demands.
