About the American High School, Stockholm - Essingen

- The school will enter its fifth academic year this fall.

- The school has approximately 600 students studying in the Natural Science and Technology program, the Economics program, or the Social Science program.

About the Role

As a teacher, you will teach our students in technology and natural science subjects, as well as have a mentorship role. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, which you will receive guidance on. You will teach in a digital environment with digital teaching materials combined with traditional literature. Instruction will be conducted in Swedish with elements of English.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%, starting with a 6-month probationary period. Start date August 4, 2025, or by agreement.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a teaching license and teaching experience, who is qualified to teach in technology and natural science subjects. It is also an advantage if you have good knowledge of programming. You have a strong commitment to teaching and want to help develop the operations together with a strong team of colleagues, sharing our pedagogical vision:

You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You have the ability to use a wide range of digital teaching materials and possess a solid digital competence.
