We are looking for an experienced Financial Management Director for a leading insurance company in Stockholm. The assignment involves taking on the operational responsibility for financial management, business planning, and benefits realization during a transition period. The role is placed within the Governance and Business Analysis section and requires senior expertise in financial management as well as the ability to lead change initiatives and strategic projects.

Job Description The assignment corresponds to the operational part of the role of Head of Finance (without personnel responsibility). You will lead the ongoing work with financial management and business planning, as well as support a larger change program related to benefits realization and governance models.

The work involves:

  • Leading and developing the business planning process
  • Coordinating financial management and follow-up
  • Supporting the program Competitiveness in benefits realization
  • Ensuring the connection between strategic work and financial processes
  • Driving change initiatives within the finance area

Competence Requirements & Experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 9–12 years of experience in financial management and financial analysis, preferably in a leadership role
  • Has high competence in financial management and business planning, particularly within the insurance industry
  • Has documented experience in leading larger teams and driving change and improvement initiatives
  • Has strong strategic and analytical skills and is accustomed to working at a high level
  • Is comfortable in independent roles with significant responsibility and has good collaboration skills

Duration of Assignment The assignment is for 4 months, starting on August 18 and ending on December 18, 2025. The position is full-time with placement at the client in Stockholm. Selection is ongoing, and the assignment may be filled before the final application date of July 29, 2025.
