The retail sector is undergoing a major transformation, and Åhléns is right in the middle of this change. If you are ready for a challenge, this is the job for you. The HR work at Åhléns is dynamic, where you need to work proactively while being able to handle constant change and quick decisions. 

Your role involves acting as a proactive and business-oriented support to Åhléns managers in all HR matters, where you are responsible for ensuring that all HR processes are executed with the highest quality. This includes adhering to labor law, collective agreements, and maintaining the company's goals and priorities.

Examples of tasks: 

• Support Åhléns managers in exercising sustainable and qualitative leadership throughout the HR process, from decision-making to implementation.
• Coach managers in team development, conflict management, and individual cases to build strong and cohesive teams.
• Ensure that Åhléns values and leadership profile are integrated into the execution of all HR-related processes and activities.
• Assist managers with union relations and negotiations, strengthen working relationships, and facilitate agreements.
• Ensure that managers have the necessary conditions and information to effectively carry out activities related to attendance and rehabilitation.
• Implement and execute decided HR processes and training to continuously improve and develop HR practices within Åhléns.
• As an HR Business Partner, you will be part of a cheerful and unpretentious HR team of about 10 people where we collaborate within and outside the function.

You Bring With You:

• Several years of experience in a similar role where you have worked broadly to support managers in HR-related matters.
• Good experience in labor law, negotiations, and union work.
• Experience in HR-related work from the retail sector with collective agreements within LO.
• Good verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.
• Experience in work and responsibility for outsourced payroll is a plus. 

To be successful in this position, you need to be a skilled relationship builder at multiple levels and be able to balance consultative and operational work. You are structured with the ability to prioritize and are driven by contributing to the company's success. You thrive in being part of a changing company and can work independently and in teams. Communicative strength, self-leadership, and perseverance are key, especially in a time of cultural change towards a proactive HR at Åhléns.
