ABOUT THE POSITION
As the Reception and Service Manager, you play a key role in the house. You are a person who is passionate about service and thrives in a role where you meet people and handle administrative tasks. You work in both the reception and the café, and have a close collaboration with the restaurant team.
This is a varied position where you are responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You assist visitors, coordinate conferences, manage access and keys, and ensure that common areas maintain a high standard. You will also be an important part of building routines and setting the structure for how we work in the property.
Together with Alecta Fastigheter, you will help create an attractive tenant offering. It is about building relationships, understanding needs, and contributing to making the office environment a place where companies thrive and develop. You will also help arrange social activities and events, and have ample opportunity to bring your own ideas.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
Carotte was founded in 1982 and has since delivered top-class service and catering. Today, we are one of Sweden's fastest-growing players in Soft Facility Services, focusing on creating attractive experiences and workplaces. Through our three business areas: Carotte Food & Event, Carotte Housekeeping, and Carotte Staff, we offer services in restaurant, cleaning, staffing, events, and office services. We are located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Jönköping, with clients across the country.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Alecta Fastigheter is a forward-looking property company with a strong focus on sustainability and digitalization. In spring 2024, they opened the doors to a completely renovated and state-of-the-art office building in Gothenburg – Ullevi Park. Here, Carotte, in close collaboration with Alecta, has been responsible for designing the reception, conference areas, common service areas, and the restaurant Leir.
The property consists of two interconnected buildings with 16 floors, where tenants and visitors are offered a wide range of services. Carotte proudly manages the entire service delivery in the building – from staffed reception to conferences and restaurant.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience from service professions, such as reception, office service, or restaurant/café.
- Thrives in a varied role and enjoys juggling multiple tasks.
- Has a strong sense of service and hospitality.
- Is self-driven, solution-oriented, and professional in all situations.
- Has good computer skills and is proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
- Is creative and enjoys taking initiative.
You are used to organizing events and conferences and enjoy building relationships. You contribute energy, security, and a positive atmosphere to both the team and our guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in the service industry, preferably in combination with café or reception.
- Experience working with both people and administrative tasks.
- Good knowledge of coffee machines and basic serving.
- Experience organizing conferences or events.
- Relationship-building, creative, and solution-oriented.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, primarily within the Office suite.
OTHER:
- Start date: Immediately
- Working hours: Office hours with flexibility for some evening work during events and arrangements.
- Employment: The position is a permanent employment where you are employed by Carotte Staff.
- Extent: Full-time
- Location: Gothenburg - Leir Food & Meetings
- Salary: By agreement
