You will support the client's operational activities by managing, further developing, and ensuring the quality of the PRIO (SAP) system in the areas of BASIS, BI/BO, and Portal, as well as managing central master data.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management - analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents in SM9. Train client personnel in methodologies and solutions.
• Addition/change - consultative support for addition requests (platform, integration, functionality). Involve and enhance the skills of client personnel.
• Architecture & Design - develop long-term design plans, participate in architectural work (landscape/Basis), security, and capacity assessments.
• Strategic Security Work - environmental monitoring, risk assessment of new components, documentation for various stakeholders.
• Supporting Function - advisory services to management and administrative functions, stakeholders, and projects, including methodology development.

Tasks

• Manage incoming BASIS requests (incidents & changes).
• Installation and upgrade work (SAP, databases, portal).
• Capacity and performance optimization, proactive monitoring.
• Investigations & analyses (platform, integration, security).
• Participation in projects and migrations:
• Define target architecture for SAP Solution Manager in the upcoming S/4HANA landscape.
• Set up, configure, and document SAP Solution Manager & Focused Run (Project, Change, Test, Release, CCLM, monitoring).
• Conduct workshops with process owners to specify necessary functionality.
• Continuous communication with operations and management organizations.

Requirements

• Knowledge – competence level 4
• Experience – competence level 3
• Management – competence level 3
• Independence – competence level 4
• Good social and pedagogical skills.
• At least 10 years of cumulative experience as a Support Specialist SAP BASIS.
• At least 5 years of experience in BASIS/database technology in larger SAP development projects.
• Documented practical experience in transport management.
• Experience working in an ITIL governed management organization.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and Focused Run.
• Experience in security and capacity analyses in the public or larger private sector.
• Certifications in SAP Basis, Database Administration, ITIL.
