We are looking for a Junior Accountant for a temporary position in our data-driven and solution-oriented Accounting operations team to work with accounts payable and receivable for our legal entities. The position is full-time and is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension, based in our Stockholm office and reporting to the Nordic Accounting Manager. You will be part of our accounting operations team, which consists of 5 people. We would like you to start as soon as possible. 

About the role of Junior Accountant

In this role, you will play an important part in the accounting operations team and work with accounts payable and receivable.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the accounts payable process for some of our legal entities, which includes ensuring accurate booking of supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.

• Responsible for the accounts receivable process for some of our legal entities, which includes customer invoicing, booking of payments, and account reconciliations.

• Contributing to the monthly closing with account reconciliations, ensuring quality in balance specifications, and booking provisions when necessary.

• Continuously working to streamline and improve our processes.

• Contributing to improving the finance department by providing input to internal projects.

Qualifications & Attributes

We believe that the most important part of the role is your willingness to learn and there are no specific academic requirements. We think you:

• Are a team player with a positive and solution-oriented attitude

• Have good knowledge of Excel

• Are a quick learner and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks

• Have experience in accounts payable and receivable work

• Experience working with Netsuite and Rillion is a plus
