Your new role

Are you an experienced accountant with a good understanding of both IFRS and local accounting principles? We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for a long-term assignment with one of Sweden's largest players in the energy sector. You will be part of an engaged R2R organization within General Accounting and work with qualified accounting in an international and constantly evolving environment. Your main responsibilities include: - Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP - Create booking instructions and manage accounting documentation - Prepare financial reports and annual accounts - Drive and lead the external audit process - Develop accounting principles in collaboration with group accounting and external auditors - Perform closing work, including reconciliations and controls - Calculate and manage accruals and provisions - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers such as BPO partners - Participate in improvement and development projects within the finance function

To be successful in this role, you need

• Relevant university degree in finance
• At least 3–5 years of experience in qualified accounting in a larger organization/group
• Very good knowledge of IFRS and at least one national accounting standard
• Experience working in and understanding the entire R2R process
• Strong IT understanding and interest in reporting systems
• Full professional proficiency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)
