Job Description We are now looking for an experienced accountant to support ongoing closing work combined with the development of processes and flows. In connection with a system change, you now have the opportunity to support a well-known player in the financial sector in Stockholm. As an accountant, the environment can be somewhat hectic, and the team is now looking for a driven and proactive accountant. In this role, you will handle ongoing closing work while also contributing to the development of new routines and processes related to the new system. You will be an important part of a smaller team of four people who work closely together. There is extensive and solid experience in both accounting and fund operations.

The work requires a good understanding of accounting, the ability to handle large amounts of data and transactions, as well as good knowledge of Excel. You are expected to quickly take responsibility for your tasks and be self-sufficient, while also receiving support from experienced colleagues.

Examples of tasks:

• Operational closing work, such as balance reconciliations and monthly reporting
• Reporting to authorities and the group
• Improvement of routines and updating of templates related to the new system
• Participation in the development of efficient working methods

Qualifications and characteristics

To succeed well in the role, we see that you have:

• Good experience in accounting and closing work
• Very good understanding of balance reconciliations and handling large transaction flows
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience in quickly adapting to new working methods and systems

Experience from banking or fund operations is an advantage. Experience with Visma is also a plus.

The assignment is expected to start in August and initially run until mid-January. You will work centrally in Stockholm and be based at the office at least three days a week, but are expected to be mostly on-site during training and introduction.

As a consultant, you will go out on assignment with our client and assist them during a project, a time-limited need, or when they need extra expertise for any other reason. You will have the opportunity to contribute your experiences while also developing and broadening your own skills from different workplaces. Our consulting assignments can be both longer and shorter, and sometimes there is also the possibility of being permanently hired by the client company.
