Your new role

As a Sourcing and SCM Specialist, you will be part of the direct materials team and responsible for one or more purchasing categories. Your focus will be to ensure the best possible total cost and material availability through strategic category management, supplier development, and continuous improvement efforts. You will also play a crucial role in driving and developing the work within SCM risk management related to defined projects and programs.

You will work with suppliers from various countries and have excellent opportunities for professional development in both strategic and operational purchasing.

Examples of tasks:

• Negotiations and contract management
• Handling of quotes and purchase requests (RFQ)
• Supplier assessments and improvement plans
• Risk management and development of processes/methods within SCM
• Participate in global and regional category teams
• Involvement in new product development projects from a supply chain perspective
• Implementation of new suppliers and materials
• Support in operational purchasing work
• Budgeting and follow-up of cost-saving targets

To be successful in this role, you need to:

• Have an academic degree in logistics, economics, or purchasing.
• Have several years of experience in supply chain management or purchasing.
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
