With warehouses and offices in Älmhult and sales offices in Älmhult, Västerås, Malmö, and Kungsbacka, they have a local presence close to customers while benefiting from the security and resources of a strong international organization.
STAPPERT Sweden is in an exciting growth phase and is now looking for a new colleague for the office in Västerås, responsible for the Mälardalen/Norrland region.
Account Manager for the Mälardalen/Norrland Region
In the role of Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales within the product areas of bars, tubes, fittings, and sheets.
You will work both strategically and operationally with the entire sales process: from prospecting and customer visits to closing deals and follow-ups. Your focus will be on building long-term and profitable customer relationships while strengthening STAPPERT's position as a leading supplier in the industry.
Your main responsibilities
- Drive and develop sales within the region
- Identify and engage new customers and further develop existing business
- Conduct customer visits, provide quotes, negotiate, and finalize deals
- Collaborate with inside sales and colleagues to ensure a high level of service
- Plan and follow up on sales activities in CRM and business systems
- Contribute to market analyses, business development, and sales strategies
Experience and knowledge
You have experience working in a solution-oriented and advisory sales role, where you focus on the customer's needs and contribute technical knowledge to create added value. Through your background, you have developed good knowledge of material standards, quality requirements, and processing processes, which enables you to engage in qualified dialogue with both purchasers and decision-makers.
Your experience encompasses the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and customer analysis to quotes, negotiations, and follow-ups. You have worked independently in the field but are also accustomed to collaborating closely with an internal team of inside sales and logistics functions.
An existing customer network within the engineering or manufacturing industry is highly advantageous, as is experience with CRM and business systems, preferably within B2B sales.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
Personal qualities
To succeed in this role, we see that you have solid experience in sales within the stainless steel industry with knowledge of stainless materials and the industry's requirements for quality, logistics, and availability.
You are business-driven, relationship-building, and have a strong personal drive. You thrive in an environment where you have freedom with responsibility and appreciate combining strategic work with practical customer contact.
You also have documented success in driving growth, winning new business, and creating long-term customer relationships in competitive environments.
