Akademikliniken in Gothenburg is looking for an Anesthesia Nurse

Our plastic surgery clinic in Gothenburg is located at Guldhedstorget, where consultations, surgeries in 2 operating rooms, as well as outpatient and postoperative activities are conducted.

Qualifications

We are looking for a specialist-trained anesthesia nurse with at least three years of experience in surgical operations.

You should be confident in your professional role and a positive person with an interest and ability to work innovatively. You are flexible and can handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism. You also enjoy taking responsibility and providing service of the highest quality. To thrive with us, you also need to find sales enjoyable and be attracted to working in a private business.

With us, you work in a team and in close relation to the patients, so we see that you have high social competence and are good at reading the patient's needs. You are humble with the ability to share information in a safe and trustworthy manner.

Job Responsibilities

As a licensed anesthesia nurse, you work together with the anesthesiologist on the assessment and planning of anesthesia as well as postoperative care. You perform and monitor anesthesia and manage technical equipment related to anesthesiology. We perform a wide and varied range of different surgeries, both aesthetic and medical, under either general or local anesthesia. You will be part of an experienced team consisting of operating room nurses, surgical assistants, surgeons, and anesthesia staff. Since we are a small team at Akademikliniken, we help each other with various tasks, which means that in the role, in addition to working in the operating room, there is also work in recovery, outpatient work, telephone advice, and providing support to plastic surgeons during new patient consultations. Everyone who works with us sees this as a stimulating part of the job and an opportunity to always help each other.

Employment Type

Permanent employment 90-100% (6-month probationary period applies)

Working Hours

Monday-Friday. Varied working hours based on the needs of the business.
