We are looking for a senior controller consultant for a community-oriented organization, specifically within the children and education administration unit. You will work closely with managers and leaders to drive and support financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, closing, and analysis. In this role, you will be advisory and operationally close, focusing on creating financial decision-making materials that are both strategic and clear. An important part of your work is to actively participate in the planning and analysis process for the organization. 

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, closing work, and financial follow-up

• Preparation of relevant analyses and decision-making materials

• Close collaboration with managers, principals, and other controllers

• Handling of accounting tasks such as coding, reconciliations, and bookings

• Clear communication of finance to different target groups

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university degree in finance

• Has several years of experience in controller work within the public sector

• Is structured, self-driven, and confident in your professional role

• Is a good communicator who adapts to the audience

• Enjoys working in collaboration with many different functions

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of the financial system Raindance

• Experience from operations within children and education issues

• Competence in Excel and digital decision support

• Scope: Full-time (100 %)

• Location: Stockholm with at least three days/week on-site

• Start: August 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026, with an option until the end of July 2026
